Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU)
Institute of Postgraduate and Medicine and Research (IPGMR) was converted into a medical university in 1998 and named Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Besides providing various medical courses in postgraduate level this university also runs a well equipped hospital with modern diagnostic facility. It has five high-rise buildings for its academic activities and clinical services.
